I am a die hard crazy potter/fantastic beasts fan to the point I have a spare room in my house full of HP related collectibles. I was disappointed when I found out Johnny depp wasn’t going to be reprising his role as grindewald but it didn’t put me off because I love the movies as a whole. But wow was I disappointed and I hate that I’m saying that because I love the wizarding world so much, but except for a few cute and heartwarming scenes with the creatures and two beautifully shot fight scenes it felt very much like a filler movie with not much point to it, I feel the ending could have been fit into 30 mins of a film, I also didn’t like mads mikaelson as grindewald, he felt very flat and didn’t have much edge to him whatsoever, very very disappointed ☹️ I’m literally sat here devastated that I’ve just watched the next movie I’ve waited years for and feeling deflated that there was no point, nothing is different nothing was concluded and a few of the story lines that have reached a semi conclusion felt like what was the point of even giving them a story line then that felt like it was building to something only for this movie to slash and purpose of the story line all together. I will still watch the next one because I will always be a fan but I hope they choose another actor for grindewald and they have less fluff and filler storyline and create a fantastic fantastic beasts again, ever hopeful! 🦉🦌⚡️
