Cinematography alone earns this film a 5 star rating from me. While the story and pacing was a bit off. I enjoyed it. The concept was something I enjoyed though. It was different.

I don't understand the hate. I mean it wasn't perfect. I peevishly enjoyed the new take on Myers. I do prefer these two over the new three that came out. Just my opinion. I do think the first half of movie was flawless. I think the second half and ending sort of lost a lot of interest in people. I don't enjoy the ending. It could have been better, yes but at least it had its own flow.

This movie receives so much hate. Of course, it's not kike the original. It's not supposed to be. I think it was a solid attempt at remake. It has flaws for sure but it's not a bad movie. I personally prefer this one over the recent three that came out.

Okay, lets start with do I think it was better than the first two by no means. But, it is remake I don’t know what people thought was going to happen. It wasn’t a direct copy to the 2008 movie. It did have key elements from both the first films. Im excited for chapter 2. It wasn't what I was expecting it to be but it was bad as people make it out to be. I feel like it set up the second chapter well. People just love to hate on things because the movie did not go the way they wanted it to. It takes a lot of work and effort in making a film i applaud them for trying. It was not that bad. In fact I am going to watch it again.
