First i want to say this is not a review of the actors on legacies, they’re all great, the writers are the issue here. That being said season 3 is awful save your time and effort and just don’t watch it. (Unless for some reason you support Landon Kirby and are totally fine watching your favorite characters get over looked while he steals the plot of every episode). Rewatch TVD or TO, they’re so much better. The legacies writers are ruining this show by refusing to acknowledge the actual legacies (Hope, Lizzie, Josie), and instead are focusing on Hopes obsession with a boy who has abandoned her no less than 3 times already (given that hope has issues with abandonment from her parents very ironic that she’s willing to take him back multiple times even though he’s proven time and time again to be a flight risk). Hopes supposed to be a strong, independent tribrid, a role model for young girls, and here she is sacrificing her friendships and other personal relationships over a useless, barely supernatural boy, even though she understands their relationship is toxic. She refuses to move on even when prompted by her own freaking subconscious, way to encourage young girls that who you “love” (can it even be called that? ) is more important than having a healthy meaningful relationships with friends.
