(Some spoilers ahead) … ughh, Where do I even begin. I was rooting for this movie. I wanted to like it. I wanted it to be good and I was just utterly disappointed. What was even the point? The message of this movie ? Because so far what I got was “if you are career driven and not family driven bad things will happen to you” he had made it clear he didn’t Want kids because he realized he had nothing to offer which sounds like a reasonable thing and then the girlfriend was like “oh eso es lo de menos” like ??? No it isn’t. Having the capital to raise a kid seems pretty important for parenting don’t you think ? It bothered me that he was made to look bad just because he didn’t want kids and wanted to focus on his career when he had already made it clear to her since the beginning that’s not what he wanted. Also i hate when the movies don’t even follow their own logic. I don’t care if they’re magic unicorns or the devil himself. If you set a world with certain rules I expect those rules to be followed. It made no sense that the photographer was targeted just for taking pictures. The type of Santeria, the energy that it took just to get back at some random photographer and for what ? What was the end game ? What was the reason in the grand scheme of things ? How did it help the corrupt politician? And why focus on the random photographers when the real killers walk freely? Again it just read like a cautionary tale to people to abandon their passions. And that ending ?? What the hell was that “ oh bring me your unborn child” how tf was he even supposed to do that ?? Even with all of his five senses let alone with only one. Almost two hours. All that engagement and Dog killing for what ?? I want the time I spent watching this movie back and I know I’m never getting it
