I wanted to like this movie, Hugh Jackman, Thandiwe Newton! Come on! it has to be good, right? Not so much. It wanted to be Blade Runner, but it wasn't. It was visually interesting, but the writing was just bad. Spoon-fed explanations, weak dialogue, very little mystery. But I still love Ms. Newton.
