Earthspark has truly been such a wonderful show that is actually enjoyable for both children and adults. Yes it is definitely more aimed for a much younger audience, but there are moments in the show that are serious to the plot line that may intrigue older audiences; it also brings back many good moments that relate to g1 and sometimes other Transformer shows, even in the comics. This show also has great representation, and it is such an important aspect to the show. Teaching importance of family and people’s culture, it represents newer generations adapting to their world, represents POC, members of the LGBTQ, amputees, etc. and it is so sweet to see how they represent all of it. There are people out there who think, especially with Nighshade, the nonbinary character, is bad for kids to learn about and is inappropriate, but it’s not, nor will this even affect your kids life, it’s just close mindedness. Even if you don’t like the fact they added a nonbinary character, that’s ok, because nobody is forcing you to watch it. Besides all that, the overall plot, animation, and beautiful representation makes this show very enjoyable and I love the take this show is doing for Transformers, and hope it continues on :)
