Thoroughly enjoyed reading THE INDIAN WARRIOR. My only complaint is that it kept me awake all night to finish the book! A page turner and unputdownable. It is good to read fiction from a veteran instead of the usual military and leadership books, which are good in their own way. The author’s vivid description of combat and traditional martial arts through the eyes of Maj Abhishay, a Special forces officer is commendable. The bravery and the narrative ranging from Kashmir to Germany and Kerala in between makes for great reading. The twist in the end leaves you in anticipation of a sequel. Eagerly waiting for Ajay Pant’s next. Hope it’s in the pipeline.*
