It's a messy watch from the beginning till the end, so many unnecessary subplots.The original "Run Lola Run" is way better. Overall 2 stars.

Snowfall is an experience and a cautionary tale of what the crack epidemic has done to South Central Los Angles. the first season introduced us to Franklin an innocent young man who get's caught up in the cocaine business with his friend who lives in the valley, when he get's a key of coke he doesn't know how to flip it. It takes rookie mistakes until he discovers the world of Freebase when he takes a trip to Oakland. That freebase coke becomes a new high, it doesn't have a name but they call it BASE! That base becomes the thing that makes him money. By second season we see him learn the game and how to handle money and manage a crew. It backfires when he becomes too negligent which leads to tensions in his crew. He gets a first hand education on the realities of prison life and comes out New and improved, ready to take on the streets.
