Acting is good but it still hurt to see how much they changed the storylines from the book. Kate and Johnny had a beautiful marriage that stood the test of time. Truly through sickness and in health, and the entire show seems based off of their divorce (?!) and her moving on... Her husband was the only man she'd ever been with. I actually skipped forward through those parts each time. She was too tired to even have half of an affair in the books. It's like they wanted this to be the reason Marah hates her mom. The writers also made Chad really lame even though he's the first person Tully had ever been with after the rape and showed her how beautiful love could potentially be. You can make a show about a beautiful female friendship without destroying the other relationships in their lives.
