This is the first book I have read after a while. I don’t really know how to put in words what I’m feeling right now. I found my self desperate to finish this book. Halfway in, I found it very repetitive but I was determined to know the ending. I am in shock. I feel disgusted in a way. Don’t get me wrong, the author did an amazing job at communicating this narrative. But it all felt too real. I guess you could say that’s a ‘good’ thing. I don’t know, like many things this book will stick with me and it has left me feeling sickly, in all respect to the author. Perhaps, not the best option as a form of escapism. It all felt too real.
