I found it so disturbing as it glorified all the self-righteousness and close-mindedness of liberals. What is happening to our country? I get that for whatever reason, people, including me, get passionate about politics. We seem to naturally despise the winner we didn’t vote for. And I understand Trump is a lightning rod in this instance. But when have we become so one-sided that we convinced ourselves there is no other side to listen to? The media is shameless in its manipulation for the left. And we fussed over some Russian hackers who posted on Facebook? What we are seeing now is true election meddling by the media. We shouldn’t feel OK with it just because it’s on our side this time. It is a dangerous precedent. What happens next time, when we don’t agree with what the media is constantly shoving down our throats? Or the time after? This movie was a prime example of how one-sided we have become. I particularly found the Ivanka bit disturbing. She is a real person. What has happened to us, that we justify mean-spiritedness and high school mean kids behavior? Everyone involved with this movie should be ashamed of themselves, but they won’t, because they are so sure they are 100% right and so proud of trashing the people who are wrong.
