I have watched this show for years...I think the writers have lost their minds..fast forwarding a year is ridiculous and has ruined the show for me to the point I have stopped watching. If they do not get new writers on board they should just cancel the show as true fans of this show will not put up with all the stupid story lines that have emerged.
