The Haunting of Bly Manor is a well-crafted television series. Although, I have yet to witness the showpiece that is The Haunting of Hill House that everyone raves so much about, I still wholeheartedly believe that even after I watch it that The Haunting of Bly Manor will hold its own candle in regards to comparison. The actors are perfectly splendid (if you know, you know), cinematography was impeccable, and the storytelling was gripping in every such way of the word (especially in episode eight, Kate Siegel definitely deserves some kind of Academy Award). Overall, I rate this series a 5/5 and I highly recommend this type of television to those who love slow burn horror that focuses more on enthralling the watcher than on worthless, overdone jump scares.
