“Anne Rice, the author of the novel, adapted this series and served as an executive producer prior to her death in 2021.” It’s absolutely gorgeous. I binged the whole first season twice in three days because it’s that beautiful and nuanced. Some of the scenes are truly horror and some are so beautifully done it’s like theater. And yes, Louis and Lestat have absolutely always been in love. Y’all gotta really read the books. Jacob Anderson (Louis), Sam Reid (Lestat), and Bailey Bass (Claudia) are a dream cast and this show is a gift. Seriously, you gotta watch this.
