This is such a personally crafted autobiography written with so much character, and is well worth the read if you've found yourself already exploring it here.
I actually read this for free on my Amazon Kindle through Overdrive thanks to Oakland Public Library.
I originally became interested in reading this book after seeing Cate Blanchett's Academy Award winning portrayal of Katharine Hepburn in Martin Scorcese's 2004 film "The Aviator" starring Leonardo DiCaprio. Around the same time, I'd seen Stanley Kramer's 1967 film "Guess Who's Coming To Dinner?", but otherwise wasn't very familiar with Ms. Hepburn's career.
For other casual fans, I'd recommend seeing those films prior to reading this autobiography, as they help elicit her vibrant character through the text on the pages.
