I am 54 years old and have enjoyed CBS Sunday Morning since I was 12. The one factor that has separated this program from all others out there for so many years is the content. Now your producers are introducing content that blurs that line of distinction. In this time of continual polarization, I implore you to cease stories of a political nature and return to the content that has made this program the success it has been. On today’s program Jane Pauley read a letter from a viewer begging the same. The reaction from the program was a condescending pat on the head and a clear statement that you will continue to include political pieces as you see fit. I must remind you that while you are at the helm, it is the viewers who own the ship.
