Some of the dialogue of the major scenes of this series between the protagonist and his estranged brother are blatantly copied from Ben-Hur (1959).
From Ben-Hur:
Quintus Arrius : Your eyes are full of hate, forty-one. That's good. Hate keeps a man alive. It gives him strength.
Messala : Judah, either you help me or you oppose me, you have no other choice. You're either for me or against me!
Judah Ben-Hur : If that is the choice, then I am against you
Excellent choice of a film to get inspiration from. But since those quotes were copied practically word for word and used in the most significant interactions between the main characters in regards to character development...It bothered me a bit.
