I just finished BNA so closing thoughts
(Spoilers for BNA, obviously)
I really liked it! The story was really nicely told and tackled the issues it presented nicely. It's not super polished, especially in the dub performance (I find that some lines come sooner than they should but they probably had to do that because they were using the Japanese lipsinc as a guideline), but it was an enjoyable watch that I'd definitely rewatch over and over alongside LWA.
Also, once again, Studio Trigger have definitely proven themselves to be the gods of animation in anime, especially in the action scenes. The last fight was just, h00000 boy it was definitely Trigger, and very enjoyable like always.
The OP is also so lively and energetic, which is exactly my type of style so it resonated well with me. The ED is also pretty nice and paired with the credit visuals, it makes for some nice vibes!
I wouldn't say it's awful or even middle of the road personally. It's definitely not a complete 10/10 because that line issue and the fact some characters like Lila only ever appeared in one episode and nothing else aside from a cameo in episode 11 bothered me a bit but, I'd say it's a nice and solid 7 or 8/10, which seems to be the general consensus with reviews I've glanced at.
If there's a season 2 in the works, then I'm definitely gonna be excited for it. If not, then I'm fine with how it wrapped things off. I think I would prefer LWA over this so if LWA S2 (or S3 according to Netflix) ever comes out, then I'd definitely watch that before BNA S2.
Also, Michiru x Nazuna is cute and I'd probably ship
