Just watched Vijay Sethupathi's 'Ace' on Prime Video, and what a delightful surprise! This movie is pure, unadulterated fun. My partner and I were genuinely laughing so hard at various points, we had to actively quiet ourselves down to avoid waking our little one who was fast asleep nearby. It's that kind of enjoyable, infectious humor that just hits the spot. Vijay Sethupathi, as always, brings his unique charm and effortless performance to the forefront. He plays his role with a perfect blend of wit and understated comedic timing. But honestly, for me, Yogi Babu was the absolute standout! His expressions, his one-liners, his sheer presence – he had me in stitches every time he was on screen. The chemistry between Sethupathi and Yogi Babu is a major highlight, creating some truly memorable and hilarious sequences. Kudos to the director, Arumuga Kumar, for crafting such a well-paced and engaging crime comedy. Even though the film didn't have a massive theatrical run, its arrival on OTT is a definite win for audiences looking for a genuinely entertaining watch. 'Ace' might be a bit of a chaotic ride at times, but it's held together by its strong comedic core and the brilliant performances.
