Black Lancelot, Latino Guinevere, Latino Cinderella, etc. They used to cry over whitewashing of historically non-white cultural icons but now the reverse is happening. Accuracy be damned. That being said, some of the actors have done stellar performances. Robert Carlyle being the undisputed best. However, the worst part of the show is its unforgivable twisting of traditional morality to portray despicable behaviour as morally righteous which is against the actual theme and intent of all these fairy tales.. An agenda driven message of corrupting society. I will not lie. Some of the scenes were good. Some were entertaining. But it is nowhere near deserving of its hype and overall, it is an average show with a deplorable theme.

I bought this after a recommendation and checking the reviews here. It is a tragic travesty. Lost time and money. The book is filled with lies, falsehoods, inaccuracies and colossal blunders. I will list a few of them below. Historical Fiction is supposed to fiction set in actual historical times with all facts accounted for. This is ludicrous. It is written in first person POV and yet the writer has included narrations from obvious modern voice which is IMPOSSIBLE in the 12th century. And the protagonist Kerbouchard is probably the fairiest Mary Sue possible. List of Blunders:- 1.So the great ninja James Bond kerbouchard finds the recipe for gunpowder in Caliph Suleyman Hakim's notes which were hidden in a secret alcove in Cordoba. The author himself claims the original Chinese work was written in 1044 and Hakim spent his last years translating it..Fantastic magic, considering Hakim died in 1016, 28 years before the Chinese wrote it...Superb 2.And for this author, the flourishing of Cordoba happened most under the Abbassid Caliphate. I am sure the original Abbassids would have loved that considering that they spent several centuries trying to dethrone the Ummayads from Cordoba but never succeeded before the Almoravids did it and the Abbassids themselves were taken out by Hulegu. 3.Oh and Islam was so wonderful for women. Islamic women enjoyed so much freedom when Christian women were treated like chattel. Islamic women could share their husbands with other women while poor Christian women had to keep their husbands to themselves. 4.and Cordoba the great utopia is a massive city that dwarfed Paris..it was filled with so many wonders..it was so beautiful..Mary Sue is stunned...Mary reaches Constantinople and.....meh ;) 5. And Brittany and Kiev are pagan for the author in the 12th century. How stupid and ignorant can one be? 6.And most of all, the great "Mary" Kerbouchard, master rock climber, pirate, swordsman, knight, archer, acrobat, scholar, linguist, Druidic super-scientist, intellectual, wrestler, mixed martial artist, FEMALE MAGNET, super Adonis, etc didnt cure Covid...nooooooo..He is like Doraemon. Whatever he needs, whenever he needs it, it will magically appear. The worldbuilding is great no doubt but this is not some poor Tolkien fantasy but historical fiction. Apart from Cornwell, go for David Gilman's Master of War, Helena Schrader's Balian of Ibelin trilogy or Scott Amis' To Shine with Honor if you want world class HF works. This is trash.

This is utter rot and an insult to storytelling. The whole show is just a fempowerment fetish fest riddled with illogical tripe. Every major male character is shown as a wimpy loser or a fairy (pun intended). Fairies keep popping out of the closet by the droves so much so that their "real world" would be overrun by them. The initial protagonist is perhaps the biggest wimpy loser in storytelling history. There is perpetual C0unt-powered savior syndrome all over it, right down to the foolish attempts at every interval, to alter the common slangs of the English language to make female genitalia refer to positive traits and using male genitalia terms to refer to negative traits in a totally unrealistic, unnatural manner. If the themes of this putrid work were anywhere near realistic or logical, the real world would have been destroyed ages ago. Naturally, fans of this kind of ideologies and inclinations will definitely relish this cesspool designed to glorify and shove deviancy and perversions down the throat of pop culture. For instance, the ludicrous use of the word "king" for a woman. Such idiocies are littered throughout the show where every male character you meet is a fairy. The special effects are top notch and the show has high production values which is unsurprising given how the thematic content is very much in line with what the MSM and Hwood studios have been peddling for last two decades. Ergo, this is the kind of illogical, irrational, nefarious, and disgusting trash that any sane person would stay clear of. Time is quite precious and it should never be wasted on turds like this series.

Worse than the typical pansy Disney fare. It is a sap-fest. In its overwhelming Sinophiliac fetish, Disney has followed Mulan with this sub-par, cliched, over-the-top, and most importantly brainless movie that is worthy of nothing but scorn. Considering that this is the same makers who made the Lion King, this is incredibly shabby. The story is worthless, the usage of slang and off-sounding words in that setting worsens this paltry submission. However, many Disney fans may like it.

The movie is yet another typical Malayalam movie designed to appeal to the eternal envy of the have-nots that has resulted in the anti-liberty plague of communism in Kerala. The actors have played their parts extremely well but the script is unfortunately shoddy. It becomes too illogical when a normal 50+ years old commoner played by Biju Menon is given the strength to crush ribs and puncture lungs with a bear hug. Prithviraj's Koshy character is portrayed as an antagonist to Biju Menon's "noble" protagonist. Even his foulmouthed wife, who is actually a fetid ho, and who refers to Prithviraj's Koshy as a "bourgeois scoundrel" even when meeting him for the first time, is portrayed as noble. She is stated to be a Maoist terrorist sympathizer and the movie story is designed to make her empathetic in the most ludicrous manner. As stated earlier, it is pure commie-mongering. The inciting incident is actually the arrogant behavior of police officials intruding on the liberty and sovereignty of individuals during a routine vehicle checking. And the offence is actually a victimless crime where the individual was provoked by tyrannical policemen high on their authority and arrogance. It is a deliberate violation of a man's rights guaranteed by the Constitution. What follows is a Tom and Jerry model of one-upmanship that defies logic and stretches belief. The movie may entertain the masses no doubt, and the communist ideology unabashedly laced throughout the movie, will play a role in that. High production values in a rural setting is a unique combo that provides the movie with an earthy look. Ranjith, the director has played a good role in a surprisingly well-acted manner.
