This film had a big build up before its release and boy does it not disappoint. If you're after a cheesy Hollywood blockbuster like Midway then stay away....this is for serious film watchers! After about ten minutes you realize you are watching something truly special. It submerges you into a world of dispair and disbelief from the stunning and sobering locations and visuals, to the breathtaking soul pounding score and sound! I've seen one other film that shocked my senses and sent them into over drive like this.....The Revenant! I didn't think something else that special would come along after that but I'm so glad it did. This could be and I'm my opinion is the best war film ever made!
