Brilliant game, like Splatoon 2 but minus the features everyone disliked (like not being able to skip Off The Hook). The solo adventure further explores the extinction of humans in the Splatoon universe, offering a diverse range of levels for you and your little buddy Smallfry to conquer to uncover more of its secrets. And to earn some pretty neat gear for your locker in multiplayer! Which leads me onto what Splatoon is arguably mostly about, multiplayer. New levels, new weapons, new clothes, better Salmon Run, lockers, and the new Tableturf Battles. What isn't to love about it??? Even the main Splatsville square is so much cooler than its predecessor, Inkopolis. Overall there is just so much more to do and so many more things to customise than Splatoon 2 ever offered. I'm really excited to see how Splatfests will pan out and any new features we may see added in the future. The complimentary Nintendo Online app, Splatnet 3 just seals the deal. You can buy different gear and take on the Wandercrust missions for more rewards. If you are interested in getting a Splatoon game for the first time, make it Splatoon 3. It's not cheap, but it's infinitely better than its predecessors and it's only just been released so I'm sure there's more goodies yet to come. Just know you will absolutely need to invest in Nintendo Online if you have not already because otherwise you cannot access most of the game because it's online. Nintendo, you've outdone yourselves with this Splatoon in my eyes, worth the wait and money, something I don't say lightly because I am broke lmao.
