Loved it. Cannot emphasize more on the fact that we need to be humans before we are anything else. We need to see religion as a guiding light not an explosive blast. May we find the strength to see beyond what we are taught to see. May we be humans before they call us Hindu, Muslim, Christian, Indian, Iranian, or any. Love shall conquer us all. Let us love like we are meant to. Let us love our fellow humans and see each other as family. May we be strong. Lord help those who are blinded by fears, oppressions, misinformation, fake power, hatred, and you absence.

Probably spoilers There's nothing I hated about this movie. I might have been a little uncomfortable towards the forgiving nature of the son towards the father. But that's what the director wanted us to see. That no one wronged they were just trying to find their way out, clumsily so. I loved every bit of the movie. Every scene was soft and real. I loved when the mother-son duo confronted each other. I loved when the mother talked about divorces and separation as wars where wives (not always) are told through a letter out of nowhere that their husbands have died, but even worse. Cause they are alive and living their lives happier than ever. I loved the part where the father talks of Napoleon and marched people. How the weaks are left behind and it is portrayed as an accident. Is it? Only the fit survive and decide to never look back. That hit hard in so many ways.

Oh, to be pure and innocent. I wish such humanity to the whole world. May we be innocent, pure and humans. Afterall, the mankind can be saved by flowers and breads only.

Oh, my heart is so happy right now. I just finished watching the movie and there are just so many grey areas touched by this movie. The representation of the lives of abandoned parents, old widows, road side beggars, stall holders and small tails make this movie wayyyy above others. The boldness of Rani, and softness of her lover make my heart go zoooooooooooo. Anddd it was such a nice reminder that it is never too late to make friends and find home in other people's lives.

I felt like I was reading a long poem. A long and warm poem. It is so rare to see cinema showing life of a housewife outside her chores. I always look at my mom and think that she's living a hidden life, like my naani and one day her life will end and people will only remember her for her food and hospitality. But movies like this are a way of telling people that people like my mom have a whole life outside their routine and chores.
