Mandarina Verde

I don’t often listen to pop, mostly stick to old movie soundtracks and instrumentals. But this is refreshing…, brutal honesty that you swallow easily with all of its sweetness. In a music world full of cryptic lyrics and mellowing poetry, I’d rather have the simple, funny, lighthearted lyrics from this album. As my life gets more and more complex, I find that I gravitate more to music that is quite the opposite: clear not too deep story telling that doesn’t take itself too seriously.
