Amelia Shoe

I loved this movie. So much. The animation, the plot, and the humor all were put together perfectly. And some might say they’re copying How to train your dragon, but a lot more went into this film than “Sea beasts are supposed to be bad. Oh, wait! They’re good! Never mind!” Also, there are tons of details and plot points that make this movie a much different story than Httyd. I was hooked as soon as I watched it. Really great!

When I watched this movie the first time, my first thought was "This is an okay movie, I would watch it again". But as I did, I realized there are flaws, and bad acting moments. For starters, the dialogue/acting was full of cringe. What they say in the movie is totally unrealistic and cheesy, and no person would ever say those things. Like, a 5-year-old kid is talking like she's 13, and the team leader is saying that "Our secret weapon is teamwork". The plot isn't the best, either. I mean, I like the concept of this rag-tag team of kids saving their parents and the world from aliens, but it's not that at all. The whole story was them teaching the kids a lesson about teamwork, which took most of the action and the "Race against time" Factor out of the situation. Seriously though, I do like watching this. I enjoy listening to this movie when I get bored, especially sense it is quite exciting. I also feel like it boosts my imagination, as these ordinary kids get unique and interesting superpowers. Would I fix it if I could? Yes, but even if I couldn't, I will still enjoy the movie just for fun.
