Movie had potential but was such a mess. Confused at the good reviews (possibly bots). Never sure what genre it wanted to be and bounces between about five of them. Main actor playing two characters completely unnecessary and sometimes confusing. If they just stuck to one or two themes it would have been much better. But between Jim Crow, black history, magical music, ghosts from past AND future, KKK, vampires (almost no explanation for why they're here) themes it becomes confusing and they can't wrap it up without just taking everyone out in one swoop. The vampires have to be invited inside in order to enter like wtf? Huge disappointment. Why were there twerking girls in hip hop clothes dancing with Japanese geisha? So stupid. Ending scene completely unnecessary. Don't be fooled by the imdb rating which is rarely wrong but is def not a 8.2/10 movie. More like a 5/10
