Another issue I had with this movie: the ending. The ending is so rushed. It also doesn't make any sense. She somehow sticks a shoe inside her best friend's body, only to push her off over 1,000 feet, traveling at the immense speed of gravity. How did the body not splat or shatter when hitting the ground? How did her cell phone magically survive inside her friend's thin body? Doesn't make any sense. he scene right before her dad comes to her rescue, shows Becky on the circular satellite thing. It makes creaking noises, insinuating that it is about to fall right from underneath her. How does it not collapse? She quite literally screams her lungs out. Then, the next scene is her dad showing up to the cell tower, and miraculously finding her safe. How did the thing not fall from underneath her? How did she get down? Did the helicopter save her? The movie didn't show it. What about her leg? She could perfectly walk on it? No paramedics? No being rushed to the hospital?
HOW DID SHE SURVIVE FOR SO LONG WITH QUITE LITERALLY NO FOOD AND WATER FOR 3+ DAYS? Hunger is barely mentioned throughout the movie. She is not as weak as she should be nor does she drink even remotely the right amount of water to have the strength she somehow did. Wasn't she freezing up at the cell tower, especially at night? She never mentions if she is cold, hot, etc.
Many missed details/a lot of plot holes.
When she finds out her best friend was sleeping with her dead husband for 4 months, she barely shows any anger whatsoever. A fight scene or trying to push her friend off would have done the movie justice.
I am no expert on climbing but a lot of the climbing scenes looked incredibly unrealistic. How could that thin rope hold a 130+ lb girl dangling from it? Why wouldn't these stupid girls bring a parachute just in case? Why did the girl only bring ONE flare? Why didn't they tell anyone they were going to the tower BEFORE they decided to climb up it!??!?!? UGH!!
