What an utter load of bull excrement. If this shoddy pastiche of the Israeli - Palestine conflict were any more thinly veiled, Durex could sell it as "featherlight plus ultra". Oddly, the Rock spends the majority of the film dressed like an angry XL bully which has been squeezed into a teal johnny and the appalling reverso race-baiting in the casting makes for a keyboard with many sharps and more than a few flats. Pierce, shame on you man. 007 to Double-un-councious bias in one fell swoop. You can almost taste his Tena Senior in each blue-screened/rinsed take. But there is a positive... Througout this sweetcorn-peppered skidmark of a film, the teenage protagonist/agonist pishes around Jerusalem on a skateboard at high speed. That kind of gritty pothole-free realism is something only possible outside of the UK

Very fond of Bill but it was abvious that the commissioners has insisted the whole shown had to be about "our" modern obsession with mental health. ADHD this, depression that, OCS the other and with Bill in the middle trying to "provide coping mechanisms" for these rich and troubled pals.... Yawn. It could have been energetic fun with top-class comedy, but woke totally killed it. The stable of neo-liberal ageing comedians is really thinning out. The narrator's voice was so saccharine that it should have come with a government health warning.
