Jay Terwilliger

The 2017 version was WAY BETTER. It had real tension, historical "background", lot's of excellent action. Never really got into the villain here. Also, not a fan of the Kristen Wiig character... overdone in the beginning as a shy nerd, somewhat stilted throughout. This movie simply never pulled me in the way the first one did. Gal Gadot was fine, but again, probably the strongest character was Chris Pine. Opening scene of the Amazonian contest was cool, downhill from there. At least it was something new to watch in a year of no theater going.
