I only watched the first five minutes or so of this film but that was enough to put me off, simply because the opening scene was supposedly news footage of the aftermath of a bomb attack on a hospital in Istanbul. Now, I realise that, when I went to school, Istanbul was called Constantinople (bit of a giveaway age-wise there!) . . . but so far as I know it was never relocated from Turkey to Saudi Arabia.
The camera pans upwards from the explosion site to what essentially is meant to be a satellite view, which is centred on (as far as I can tell) either Jeddah or Makkah in Saudi Arabia. Either the American film makers are hopeless at geography or they think their audience is too ignorant to actually notice (or possibly both). I had to replay the sequence three times to convince myself of what I was seeing. Very poor film-making from the outset.
