Fascinating and enlightening journey through the remarkable career of the band, and especially its focused and driven leader. Poignant and reflective, and filled with the music and imagery that made them a worldwide phenomenon. It was refreshing to get a glimpse of the truth behind Jon’s vocal struggles, which often plague singers who are getting on in years. So many other artists just continue to perform without ever really accepting the reality of age and the strain and fatigue that inevitably set in over time. It’s not wrong to consider retirement when you can’t give your absolute best to the people who are spending time and money to see you perform. Beautifully edited and rich with effects that blend seamlessly to make the viewer feel as though they’d been along for the entire ride. It ends on a hopeful note as the band fights onward and rallies behind their front man, who finally comes to terms with the fact that even he, in his humble humanity, isn’t “Limitless”.
