We loved it!! It was funny and thought provoking. You'll need the full range of emotions for this one. Those that get it will get it and those that don't, won't and it's as simple as that!

Movies are made to entertain. Using the words from another Disney gem Ratatouille, "In many ways, the work of a critic is easy. We risk very little, yet enjoy a position over those who offer up their work and their selves to our judgment. We thrive on negative criticism, which is fun to write and to read. But the bitter truth we critics must face, is that in the grand scheme of things, the average piece of junk is probably more meaningful than our criticism designating it so." Screw the critics and their 14% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. I'll trust the 7.2k Amazon reviews that assigned this movie 4.7 out of 5, the 79% rating from Google and my family who LOVE this movie!!! Let go of your hang ups and just be entertained. This movie is in our family's annual Halloween lineup along with Nightmare Before Christmas!! Hoping the reboot is a winner too!

We saw the movie with our 12 year old son. He put his head down during the kiss in this movie just like he did during the kiss in Jurassic World Dominion and the kiss in The Batman...because he's only there for the action (his words). After the movie I turned to him and said, ok scale of 1 to 10. He replied definite 8! So here are our 4 stars.

My kid loved it and that's good enough for me!!!
