The title gives it away Birds of Prey (and the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) ,,,, Robbie hated the image her role in Suicide Squad. So instead she,,, who really has a handle in Hollywood these days, doesn't walk away from a good idea instead she blow it up into one rollocking rock and roll kick butt kicking fun. Hires a hires a woman director..Cathy Yan and a gang of women bad girls..... love it, BTW who can resist the fabulous Rosie Perez,,,Opps I haven't mentioned this yet,,, but I haven't even seen it yet,,,,, ahahaha. These, it is more important than ever to see films the embrace stories about true struggle for finding ones place in the world and within themselves. It also celebrates youth its awkwardness, quirkiness and joy. Though one might expect a biopic it strays from that common theme by focusing on those qualities such as love, family bonds and the forging the strength of ones character. The film os beautifully shot all the actors Alba August in the lead is exceptional as well each also the actors in the film.
