Ken Tilly – Google

An absolutely fabulous read from beginning to end. I met Herman and Candelera Zapp and family just outside Durban at the Veteran Car Club of South Africa during their trip through South Africa back in 2012 and I bought the book from them. It is so interesting that I am currently reading it for the third time. The trials and tribulations that this family had gone through by the time I met them and their children, who were all born on the road in different countries, was nearly unbelievable. When I met them they were on the way from Cairo to Cape Town where they planned to ship the car to Australia. Since then they have toured Australia, India and most of Asia, parts of China and Russia before doing Europe and on to UK. One lovely, very inspiring family. If they write a sequal about their adventures since leaving SA I will be the first in line to buy it. If I could have my time over again this is exactly what I would do.
