This series is really one of the games that moved me. I've just finished a binge play starting from Innocence and I must say that this sequel is a major leap in story-writing as well as the gameplay. There are more rats in this game compared to the first. But it comes second as the characters are well-developed. You can see the evolution of how the game developers (Asobo Studios) imagined Amicia, Hugo, and the cruel world around them. The emotion that the game delivers is on another level. From the script to the scenery, it all adds up. Definitely worth playing! P.S. Don't mind the performance issues, Requiem compensates it with the story, graphics, and the gameplay. Still hopeful, it gets patched to attract more players!

RATS. One word that will describe this underrated game. I found this interesting because it went free on Epic Games a year ago. After finishing it, I was amazed as to why I didn't know that A Plague Tale was THAT good in storytelling and adventure. It has rarely been mentioned and wasn't even trending in the gaming world when it came out. However, because there's a sequel, it's recommended to start with this since it establishes the world as well as the characters. Hugo and Amicia have that good representation of sibling connection. I hope everyone gets to try playing this and just appreciate its beauty.
