This movie bears only one thing in common with the actual story. "There was a plane in which the pilot died and a passenger landed it". Other than that, this is a typical case of the movie producers absolutely torturing a good story line. The acting was terrible, the story line was embellished with too many ludicrous plot lines, and the amount of fictionalize scenes in the movie made it so far from what actually happened on the flight that it cannot qualify as anything close to a true story. There were no children listening to ATC then riding their bikes on the runway. At no time did the plane nose-dive from 11,000 feet to almost hitting the ground before pulling out of the dive and returning to 11,000 feet. The dead pilot was never removed from his seat and dragged to the rear of the plane. There was no epi-pen peanut allergy drama. And leave it to the woke producers to actually change the race of one of the key air traffic controllers. The list goes on. My advice is to NOT watch this movie, and instead go straight to the 45-minute FS MaNia YouTube documentary. You'll thank me later. Even if you don't, at least you'll get the accurate story.
