The Peanut Vendor

Man, maybe I was expecting too much, but this just kinda sucked. Hallucinations, most of the new cast, how a key character gets offed and finding out who actually does it (physically possible?), and male shower scene (yes, really). The reasoning behind the murders was pretty weak too. I appreciated some of the nostalgia, and the gore was strong if that's your bag, but there isn't enough new here to get the blood flowing like the original did.

The "I'm having a nervous breakdown scenario" throughout most of the movie was absolute misery to sit through, not to mention there's not one likeable character. I don't know, maybe a 15 year old boy would find the horrible diolouge and sad attempts at humor enjoyable. For that, it gets one star.
