This movie is really amazing. I think it perfectly shows what love is about, caring and adoring another regardless of their faults. Jamie finds love in a place he didn't think he would and it is so beautiful to watch. Maggie's vulnerability shown with her disease including self doubt and withdrawal from emotional relationships due to the burden she believes she will place upon the others is so raw and incredibly acted by Anne Hathaway and you can truly feel the pure joy and peace she feels with Jamie's love and care. Jake Gylienhaal is incredible at showing the common disconnect between sex and love and his genuine lack of self worth causing him to feel incapable of finding love. These two are such a perfect duo and truly connect so well and the love between them is beautiful. In addition, I think the portrayal of Parkinson's (Maggie's disease) is very well done, showing the loneliness caused by terminal illness and in contrast the amazing community of which it can create providing support and reassurance to those affected. Overall, this movie is impeccable, with ups and downs and realness of the characters. Recommend :)
