Good storytelling in general with some weak spots on the deserted islands. The animation is solid for the first twenty-something episodes, then takes a nose-dive when the show changes directors. Most people probably won't notice, but the flaws in the animation are pretty glaring to anyone who has an eye for those things. Still a decent show. I can see why Atlantis: The Lost Empire was accused of pawning ideas from it. To be perfectly honest, though, I think I liked Atlantis: The Lost Empire more.
