A great show that is well researched and takes the viewer into the oddities of different time periods.
It is sensationalized and reflects the obscure rather than the typical. This is fine by me. Do not expect it to reflect every day life in the different time periods, it is depicting the most interesting and exotic lives. Edwardian mansions, and jousting and royal courts.
