I think Mean Girls is one of the best movies to come out in the early 2000s and is still equally entertaining now. Even though the plot is fairly simple and its not something that you have to think deeply at most of the jokes in the movie it is still a favorite for many. For those that enjoy a casual movie to watch this is the perfect one for you. Pros: Obviously the scenes in the movie are exaggerated from reality to be entertaining it still represents part of the high school experience like cliques or how people gossip about students and teachers My absolute most favorite part of the movies was the “burn book” I found it hilarious and the girls reactions to it even more funny. The vast majority of the lines are extremely quotable but if you do you will definitely show how old you are (mileanials) The laidback delivery of the plot makes it a comfort movie for many people to just seat back and enjoy Eventhough the characters are fairly simple the actors flawlessly played into them so will that during the movie it didn’t even feel like they were acting After all of my great feelings about the movie there are very few things that I could complain about. Isn’t really a great movie for young children to watch because of the sometimes inappropriate humor Some feel that the young women in the movie are portrayed in a bad way because of the situations that they are in
