Dumbest movie I have seen in a while! Looked interesting given the recent events and popularity around the movie. The movie is like 5 different stories wrapped into one, but non of them are connected. There is a time where it tries to be a horror movie. But the jump scare happens, then the movie goes on and never refers back to why it happened. The acting is like watching a high school play. The family acts like they were all handed the script the day before, there is no chemistry between the siblings or parents. The grocery store they show a few times has shelf’s stocked full with all the labels facing the same way and very clean. Just nothing in the movie is believable and distracts from the plot. They also talk in a very poetic tone and it’s hard to follow when I’m trying to learn a new story line every 5 minutes. I gave up 45 min in.
