Series 1 was brilliant, the writing, direction, acting, fresh, new, original, funny, poignant. I was really excited about season 2 and then I watched it. A cynical exercise in cashing in on a surprise success. Jessica Borden and Alex Lawther bring everything to the show to try and save it and whilst excellent they still fail. Series 2 has no flow, no real plot, no suspense, nothing original. Series 1 smashed it out of the park so there really was nowhere to go. Desperately disappointing.

Watched first episode and to my surprise, it’s good. Unusual for a new comedy to actually be funny. Have to say though, Rob Beckett has lost a hell of a lot of weight.
