I didn't like how the source material was treated in this adaptation at all, though I am very curious about how Ruben Östlund would have dramatized this story.

Overrated, shallow, and at times really annoying

Chappelle may not be at the top of his game in this special, but he does indeed succeed at making me laugh out loud a couple of times with his unfiltered dark humor.

A good concept with a mediocre execution

I'm all for weirdness, but this was a bit too much for me. Everything save the cat was annoying, esp. the overuse of music. Overall, why take LSD when you can watch this?

And I thought "Wolf" was the worst movie Nicholson starred in. This one was a disaster. Overrated in all aspects!

As a 21st-century first-time viewer of John Carpenter's Halloween, I must confess that I found the movie to be just as funny as the parodies and memes based on it. Halloween has inarguably been an inspiration for most of the following horror flicks, and no one can deny Carpenter's skill in creating suspense, whether via the fantastic score or the POV shots. However, expecting chills down one's spine seems rather over-the-top. At any rate, watching it is recommended to those seeking a better grasp of the horror canon.
