It's not scary, in my opinion, but often unnerving, but sometimes misses the mark and it's like a dad joke version of scary. If you've ever watched Buffy the Vampire Slayer, you may have a good idea of the level of "scary". Buffy is also a good analogy because of the level of sarcasm used, and the HIGH quality of quarky writing, and the way that it all ACTUALLY WORKS. Buffy always harnessed this charm, and used it to it's advantage. Night Vale does as well.

And then, there's something REALLY surprising in the weather report. I won't spoil it. Seek it out. The surprise is what inspired to actually write the review finally.
