Uneven, coupled with inaccuratities of the time period, and a completely unrealistic premise, this show tries to push boundaries of violence and situations on broadcast cable TV. While the acting deserves a nod their directors and writers do not. The shows try to break a school, one that teachs the art of killing, into 1980s clicks with its own twist but fails at this. The teased blond, the black guy, and the punk and are all there but seem empty. The tirnatury characters completely destroy the theme and mood of the show. I’m sure some HS kids will get off on the violence and cursing but in the end it’s an hollow endeavor.
