All 3 seasons have really weird pacing, obscure lore and story beats that don't really reward you for exploring them, and sharp twists and turns that offer a brief shock factor for a short period of time but at the cost of a longer term more satisfiying arc from beginning to end.
Animation and voice acting are incredibly well done, but the scripting and story writing both let the show down in my opinion.
