Obviously too far better than overrated new games like Octopath Traveler. This game have enjoyable Story, gameplay, characters, music, pace and respectfull ending.
But if you compare it with Final Fantasy 6 , Final Fantasy 4 or Chrono Trigger then you find a mix of theme with some new features which is just good.
Generally, these days you can't find real jrpg games to often, so don't miss this diamond.
