I read this while on a trip to Scotland and the story and my trip are forever intertwined! I loved the book— it was an easy captivating read… even though I didn’t totally fall in love with the characters I still was entertained. I have a thing for old spooky houses and this one was filled with ghosts— my favorite.

I absolutely loved this book and cannot wait for the next! It was sassy, mysterious, gently suspenseful… curses, ghosts, witches… but plenty of skepticism to keep everyone on board. Really all of the fun things that keeps you captivated in a novel.
