This is like the emperor wears no clothes. A completely meh movie that I feel like I was tricked into seeing. Some good messages and acting, but I found much of it mindless, like early Care Bear movies. Packaging it with Oppenheimer is incredibly manipulative. Ooof.

This book is an amazing account of life in the tiny villages of Nepal, enthralling from beginning to end. But It is much more than a travelogue and much more than Nepal. "Beyond" provides readers with a window on the realities of poverty and lack of healthcare in rural areas across the globe, while at the same time showing us how people in even these settings can be kind, caring, smart, funny, and even joyous. Really just excellent.
